Certification is issued per individual property, not per brand, chain, management company, or ownership group. Each property must be independently assessed against the standard. A certified property within a chain does not confer certified status on any other property operated under the same brand. Where a chain submits multiple properties for assessment, each is treated as a separate application.

Multi Property Certification
Roch Interpretation
One certified property in a chain proves nothing about the other 200. Each property has its own policy, its own rooms, and its own staff, and needs its own assessment.
Examples
Compliant
A hotel group submits three individual properties for assessment; two pass and are listed as Certified, and one fails and is listed as Not Certified.
Not compliant
An international hotel brand announces on its website that all 50 of its European properties are Roch Dog Certified based on one property having completed an assessment.
