Defined Term RDFRG-02 · Definition 9

Pass / Fail Assessment

An assessment model where an accommodation provider either meets or does not meet the standard's stated requirements in full. There are no partial outcomes, no gradations, no scores, and no conditional passes. Fail any single certification requirement and the outcome is Not Certified.

Roch Interpretation

There is no partial credit. A property that passes six of seven certification requirements and fails one is Not Certified, full stop.

Examples

Compliant A hotel meets all seven requirements including a disclosed £150 damage deposit and two ceramic bowls in every dog room, and is assessed as Certified.
Not compliant A hotel passes R1 through R6 but cannot demonstrate a per room dog limit under R7 and is assessed as Not Certified.
